Stephen Richardson - Partner & Craftsman
Stephen's passion for woodworking began in childhood, spending countless hours in his parents' basement workshop alongside his father. Those early experiences sparked a lifelong appreciation for craftsmanship, creativity, and the natural beauty of wood.
After graduation from university, Stephen built his first pine harvest table - a piece that remains in use today and serves as a reminder of where his woodworking journey began.
For more than 30 years, Stephen worked closely with woodworking manufacturers and shops throughout the industry, helping improve production capacity, workflow efficiency, and product quality through the implementation of advanced European woodworking machinery. This experience provided him with a deep understanding of both traditional craftsmanship and modern woodworking techniques.
Today Stephen has returned to his roots and his true passion: creating unique, handcrafted furniture that showcases the beauty of natural wood. Each piece he builds reflects his commitment to quality, artistry, and attention to detail. Through NaturLee Creations, Stephen is proud to create functional works of art that will be enjoyed and cherished for generations.
Sandi Richardson - Partner & Craftswoman
Sandi's love for all things natural began in early childhood while exploring, playing and adventuring in the forests of British Columbia. Countless hours spent among the trees sparked a deep appreciation for the beauty, peacefulness and wisdom found in nature. Hiking, camping, running, and skiing soon became an important part of her everyday life, further strengthening her connection to the outdoors.
Growing up surrounded by the beauty and teachings of the natural world laid the foundation for a lifelong passion for creating with natural materials. Inspired by the textures, colours and simplicity found in nature, Sandi enjoys creating one of a kind pieces that reflect the landscapes she loves.
Her creative pursuits include pottery, knit works, photography, hand--painted cards for all occasions, and a selection of handcrafted essential oil products. Each piece is thoughtfully designed and created with a focus on authenticity, quality and the beauty of natural materials. Many of Sandi's creations complement Stephen's handcrafted woodwork bringing together their shared appreciation for craftsmanship and the natural world.
